It was formed in 2012 through the merger of three formerly independent schools/departments at the University of Gothenburg. The Valand Academy is part of the Faculty of Fine, Applied and Performing Arts, which enables the possibility of cooperation with other artistic programmes and departments. Entry Requirements: The language of instruction in all programmes is Swedish.
